I paint and draw things, places and people in my surroundings and/or travels and pretty much anything that captures my attention. Sketching is a daily ritual, usually a precursor for a painting. Many of the images I'm painting stem from sketches done while sailing around our bays and local waterways. Atmospheric notes held in my mind and on paper hopefully translate through paint giving the viewer a sense of peace and beauty.
