This exquisite catalogue documents the Making Her Mark and Making Her Mark Archival exhibitions, one of the most ambitious undertakings ever staged by the Providence Art Club in its 137-year history. It included three principal components: the curated Making Her Mark museum-quality exhibition featuring the works of many of our clubs early women artists; the Making Her Mark Archival Exhibition, featuring artifacts and exhibits that told the nearly-forgotten stories of these pioneering women; and a major symposium conducted by noted experts in the field of women artists of this period.
Created by PAC Artist Member Audrey Monahan, this full color catalogue includes research, biographies and images of the Providence Art Club's early women artists and their work. It is an everlasting tribute to these women who substantially shaped the Providence Art Club’s mission and helped pave the way for women artists in America for decades to come. It measures 8"x10", is 66 pages, and soft cover.
