Annual Fall Concert

The Many Faces of Franz Lizst

With Pianist Ben Nacar

Friday, October 15th

Starting at 6PM with a seated dinner throughout the Club and a concert to follow in the Maxwell Mays Gallery.

Liszt-lovers take note!  On this night pianist Ben Nacar will share stories about this prolific Hungarian composer and perform selections on our historic Steinway that will include Hungarian Rhapsody no.12, Funerailles, and Consolations nos. 2 and 3.  The fan frenzy for Franz Liszt at his piano concerts was so intense that the term “lisztomania” was coined in 1844.
Mr. Nacar is a native East-Sider and a graduate of Brown University.  His many musical accomplishments include extensive collaborative work with singers, actors, and musicians.  His original compositions include works for solo piano, chamber ensembles, concert band, and full orchestra.
Plan to join us for the return of a PAC tradition — our Annual Fall Concert!
