On view in the Providence Art Club Courtyard
May – August 2022
The Providence Art Club is pleased to host its Second Annual Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition featuring six works by Southern New England artists. On view from May – August, 2022 in the Club’s courtyard, the exhibition brings the Club’s outdoor space to life with art. This year’s exhibition was juried by talented sculptor Steve Buduo, who has exhibited widely and has a concrete sculpture included in the exhibition. Click on each exhibitor’s name under their image to be redirected to the rest of their works.
Each artist in the show received a $250 honorarium for their participation and First Place Award Winner Walter Horak received and additional $1,000 for his piece, titled Upright, from the exhibition juror.
The Art Club’s courtyard is accessed from Thomas Street through the white gate in between the Fleur de Lys Studio at 7 Thomas Street and the Deacon Taylor House at 9 Thomas Street. Please note that the exhibition is not accessible during lunch service, which takes place on weekdays from 11:30am – 2:00pm. Other than those times, the space is free to visit and open to the public. The space will occasionally be closed from time to time for private functions or Club events.
For questions about this exhibition or planning your visit to the Art Club, please contact gallery manager Michael Rose at email@example.com.
Gallery hours are Sundays – Fridays, 12-4pm each day. The galleries will typically be closed on Saturdays and may be closed at other times due to Club functions or private events.
