with Gallery Manager Michael Rose
Saturday, July 14, 1:00pm
Travel behind the Club’s “Big Green Door” at 11 Thomas Street with Gallery Manager Michael Rose for a free, public tour of the Providence Art Club. Founded in 1880 to promote Art Culture in the City of Providence, the Art Club is the first such organization to be co-founded by men and women and also counts the important African-American landscapist Edward Mitchell Bannister among its founders. This tour will be a great opportunity to learn more about the Club, its historic properties on Thomas Street, and to see our National Open Juried Exhibition: America, Now. All are welcome!
Space is limited and RSVP is required to attend this free event.
Please contact Michael Rose at 401-331-1114 ext. 5, or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org to book your space.
